Radviliad

A film about one of the most famous, sophisticated and influential European noblemen of the XV-XVIII centuries – the Radvila‘s (Radziwill) family and his members, who had been one of the wealthiest real estate owners in the Old Continent for several hundred years,  defeated a 5 times bigger army of Ivan the Terrible by its own troops in a legendary battle, defended European protestants without being afraid of inquisitional fires and also published the first bestselling travel book about a trip to Jerusalem which had been on top for 200 years.
It’s a family that has been always noted for its sacrificial manner to others, claiming that “the real fortune of a nobleman is in Heaven, not on Earth”. And now, after a couple of centuries, the offspring of this family can be found among world political elite all the way down from Europe to Kennedy’s family or Emmy winners, all sharing the same values.
A film about Courage, Grace and Devotion.
